Shared Harvest: Coming Together for Food and Justice

Join us this Saturday, September 12, from 5-8pm at the barn for a cookout with us and our partners at Gardening the Community from Springfield. There is no charge, but you can make a donation to GTC if you’d like. Bring friends and family, eat some good food made with local meat, veggies, and bread, listen to some good music, and hang out by the fire (if it cools down…!)

To become sustainable over the long term, GTC needs to extend and deepen its network of support. Help us build bridges across the divides of our valley and create a more equitable food system. All donations raised will support GTC’s food justice and youth development work in Springfield.
This will be a kid-friendly event, and we invite you to come even if you can’t stay for the whole time. Dinner will be an informal buffet, followed by presentations, discussion and music. Afterwards, we’ll light a bonfire and roast up some s’mores. Feel free to bring family and friends –just please be sure to RSVP if at all possible so we are sure to have enough food!
