Wild Foods Class at Greenfield Community College

A basic introduction to observing, identifying, harvesting and preserving native plants, herbs and weeds for edible and nutritional purposes. Topics also include how common weeds, including invasive species, can be turned in to value-added products-improving the productivity of farms, gardens or homesteads.

When: Mondays, 1-4pm 7/22, 7/29, 8/19 and Monday 10a-4p on 8/5/13
Where: Greenfield Community College and Amherst, MA (for field days)
