MA Commercial Urban Farming Symposium

Join the Urban Farming Institute and Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources for the 8th annual MA Commercial Urban Farming Symposium. This all-day event promises to be a transformative experience for urban farmers, agricultural professionals, community leaders, educators, policymakers, and food justice advocates. This year’s theme is “Cultivating a Resilient Future: Innovation, Collaboration, and Community”.

Come meet UMass Extension Urban Agriculture educators Ibrahim Ali and Olivia Golden and learn about the new Urban Ag Program! Sue Scheufele of the UMass Extension Vegetable Program will also be there to talk about climate change and vegetable pests

  • When: Friday, March 8, 2024
  • Where: In-person at UMass Lowell, University Crossing / Lowell, MA or virtually via Whova
  • Registration: In-person attendees $100 each, or online attendees $75 each. Registration deadline March 6.
