Widening the Welcome: The Future of Agriculture for Communities of Color
November 4, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
About the Event:
The face of farming is radically changing. How can we encourage more African American/Black, Latinx and API/APA communities to be in the vanguard of these changes in New England? Join us Saturday, November 4, 2017 for a rare opportunity to raise the voices of global majority actors with a vested interest in agrarian-based ventures statewide and regionally. This open, pre-registration required event also serves an introduction to the upcoming Where Women Gather: A Celebration of Women in Farming hosted by Hidden Acres Farm, Inc. in New Haven, CT in late June 2018: www.wherewomengather.eventbrite.com.
