Flower to Fork: Wild Plants, Farms, and Food
March 25, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
What role do native plants and their pollinators play in the stability of our food and other agricultural systems? Join the New England Wild Flower Society for a day-long symposium to discuss the interactions between native plants, pollinators, and food crops. Learn how farmers are using native plants to increase their crop production, what programs are available to growers to help with native plant installation, and how you can create beautiful gardens that also support pollinators. Registration fee includes lunch. Ten student scholarships are available. Email education@newenglandwild.org for more information. Visit newenglandwild.org/programs to register.
