Yoga for Farmers, Gardeners and Landscapers

October 8, 2014

Wind down the season with greater comfort in your body and clarity in your mind! This 6 week series of yoga exercise will include: core strengthening to create a strong back, gentle stretching poses to create a healthy range-of-motion, basic posture exercises to ensure good body habits in daily movement, as well as meditation and breath work to calm and clear the mind. No prior yoga experience is necessary. Please bring your own yoga mat!

When:  Wednesday evenings at 5 pm Oct. 8th-November 12th
 Drop in rate: $12 per class
Pay for all 6 classes in advance and receive a discount!
($60 for the series): $10 per class

About the Teacher: Annie Sussman currently works for Old Friends Farm in Amherst. She has been studying yoga for the past 10 years, and received her yoga teacher certification from the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica. Annie holds a B.A degree in dance and a M.A.T degree in education. She enjoys feeling connected to the land through farming, and connected to her body through the practice of yoga!
